Our History

I'm sure you're wondering where we came from, how long we've been here. We've flown under the radar for a good many years here in Berwyn and I'd like to share with you a little bit about how we came to be Berwyn Recording and the Berwyn School of Music

and some other details of our long history.

Horse Drawn Productions

Way Back in 1998, a youthful Eric Yoder and his then girlfriend, Darlene moved to Chicagoland from Ohio and formed a small music studio in their basement, located on Chicago's Northside. It was a humble beginning but Eric knew what he wanted and he had the music bug. As a world class percussionist and studio engineer, he began to a assemble his studio and team from the ground up.

First to join the team was local punk musician, sound engineer and general wildman;

For 10 years, Horse Drawn Productions flourished and we began to outgrow our little space but as you can see from the pics here, we really made the best of what we had to work with.
